Fantastic Mr. Fox

Fantastic Mr. Fox is an opera in three acts with a libretto by Donald Sturrock based on Roald Dahl’s children’s novel of the same name. It was premiered by Los Angeles Opera, Peter Ash, conductor, at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, CA, on December 9, 1998. This acclaimed recording, released by the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, led by Gil Rose, won the 2020 GRAMMY for Best Opera Performance.
